Vancouver Island Alpine Guide Moyeha Mountain - 1804m/5919'

Moyeha is located on the south side of the Bancroft-Thelwood divide. Access is similar to that used for Mount Thelwood. If coming from the north drop into the head of Thelwood Creek and head west towards the divide. When possible head south and up into a basin on the NE side of Moyeha at 1300m. From here ascend a snow couloir to the east ridge. Head west up the ridge passing the first gendarme on the south and the second on the north. Cross over a short gap and scramble to the summit. Class 3.
